Why Teachers should have guns in school

Why Teachers should have guns in school
Teachers should be armed in school because it can increase the safety of the school if done carefully. It will be a big and hard change for people, especially parents, to accept. But if you make sure the teachers have proper training and background checks I believe this can be very useful and can help save many lives.
Teachers deserve the right to protect their students. Most teachers would be willing to take a bullet to protect the kids their put in charge of. But why let it come to that? If they were given guns they would be able to protect their students without having to lose their life. Weapons such as guns can be very dangerous. But with it being properly concealed and having teachers careful and responsible with them it can keep the students safe without worrying about the risk of a student getting their hands on one.
Teachers and other staff members being armed will not just give them the chance to defend themselves and the students but it decrease the chance of a killer entering a school. Where would a homicidal maniac be more tempted to attack, a place that said ‘we have guns and know how to use them’ or a place that says ‘we are a gun free zone’? Even with being able to call, according to http://www.self-defense-mind-body-spirit.com/average-police-response-time.html, 911 the average response time it takes for the police to show up is 10 minutes. And that’s just in America, it can be even longer in different countries with worse legal systems. In that time someone could have shot down several classrooms and have already escaped.
By promoting the idea that schools are devoid of weapons you are not just giving parents a sense of security but killers and criminals too. It would be so easy for people to rob a place with no weapons and proper security. Also with phones, ipods, laptops, and portable game systems there are a lot of things a person could rob for hundreds of dollars easily. They also wouldn’t even need to worry about anyone fighting back or having a weapon on them. With all of this combined all schools might as well have giant targets painted on the front of it. They are trying to promote safety but in doing that the schools are just inviting in more danger for themselves and the staff. Schools have accidentally made themselves a target to anyone with a weapon in their pocket and the mindset to kill.
In conclusion this is why schools need to have teachers and staff to be armed. Gun control is a civil right due to the second amendment and while it can be risky, if done correctly in schools teachers and students will have much less a reason to fear. Having concealed guns in school is the key to stop making schools a target. This solution can quickly stop and prevent this kind of crisis. Even one person armed can save many people. It only takes one person to save a life.

Why Dress Code SUCKS!

The things I don't like about Dress Code are the time it wastes in the morning, that it makes it so you can't express yourself with your clothes, and how it makes people feel not as individual. I don't like the school dress code because it causes such a hassle in the morning. I barely have time to get dressed in the morning. I don't even have time for breakfast. And almost all my clothes have some kind of design. I only have about 5 pairs of clothes that is allowed in dress code. It can be very hard to find anything in the morning and I barely have time to get dressed and I am too tired getting up as it is. I can't wake up any earlier. I've tried going to sleep earlier but I just can't, I just lay in my bed wide awake until it's the normal time I go to sleep.

People should be allowed to express themselves and the dress code denys people of that. I like to wear things that fit my personality while the clothes in dress code are so bland. Black, white, and grey are so depressing they feel like prison colors. Clothes can be reflections of people's personality and interests. When you are forced to wear certain things it feels like you are repressing people's personality. Wearing clothes you chose gives people a sense of individuality.

I want to be able to just grab anything from my closet and put them on so I can go to school like I used too. Now I always have to search for my clothes. They say that they made the dress code to help but it gets in the way much more than it has ever helped me. The dress code clothing can also be very uncomfortable. But a lot less than when I went to Mount Vernon where you had to tuck your shirt in. Not having to do this is probably the only thing I like about dress code.

When people wear what they want it can give them a sense of self confidence by letting them feel like an individual. Dress Code can make people feel depressed and it makes it feel hard to express themselves. Or to have a personality of their own. People can also feel like they need to express themselves. Because dress code blocks a feeling of expression of yourself. I want to have dress code removed.

The Christmas Carol

The theme of the story The Christmas Carol is that people should have more generosity and greed will be the death of you, literally. The main character Ebenezer Scrooge was a very rich man yet he refused to give to people in need. He was always cruel and uncaring to others and he only cared about himself. He had to reevaluate his life to realize what a horrible person he became over the years. He learned that if he didn't change his ways he would end up dying alone without any friends or family that cared about him. He changed in the end and learned to be kinder to others allowing him to live happy for the rest of his life.
